Who We Are
Counting Down to the Eclipse
For this year’s amazing total solar eclipse, we are as close to ground zero as you can get. Located about 4 or 5 miles south of Warm Springs, and about 10 miles north of Madras, our campgrounds offer an amazing vantage point for seeing history in motion. The address here is 6152 NW Danube, Madras.
Front Row Seats
The “path of totality” is a narrow band about 90 miles wide that the eclipse will travel across the U.S., from Oregon to South Carolina. The total eclipse at its longest will be about two minutes and in Oregon, it will cross near Salem, Corvallis, Madras, Baker City and several small towns in between.
Once in a Lifetime
The last total eclipse in Oregon was in 1979, and the next one to cross the state won’t be until October 5, 2108, when a small bit of the Oregon coast will experience the tail end of the event, and July 25, 2169, when the path of totality will include Portland and the northeast part of the state.
